A new identity for a new era.
Peopledesign has worked with the Grand Rapids Art Museum in various ways over the years, starting with a refreshed business system and member newsletter. When the GRAM relaunched the brand in a new building in conjunction with their 100-year anniversary, they called us.
We developed a new graphic identity for GRAM based on the architecture of their new facility, the first LEED Gold certified art museum in the world, designed by Kulapat Yantrasast. The award-winning mark served as inspiration for the rest of the program materials we developed, including the business system, website, building signage, merchandise, and more.
